is it getting old or asking for a bro/sis...

As we (Poch and I) were walking towards school this morning, we saw an old lady walking in a slow pace. A few moments after we passed by the old lady, Poch commented...

Poch: I don't like you to get old mommy.
Me: Why? Everybody gets old.
Poch: But mommy, I don't like you to get old. (in a quite exasperated voice)
Me: Why?
Poch: I don't like you to get old mommy because I want you to be always my mommy. If you'll get old, you'll be in a wheel chair. And there are two of you. It's just only me. How can I do that? I have to push you and daddy at a time?
Me: Oh?!!! (asking myself if this is her other way of asking for a bro/sis... or what... hehehhe)

Thankfully we reached the school and Poch got occupied in going to their classroom on her own before I could respond to what she said. =P

At Bedtime

DSC07924

still playful at bedtime =)

Ever since the second week of March when the cold nights started, Poch hasn't been sleeping on her own bed anymore. The three of us have been sleeping in a double-sized bed for more than a month now but we don't really mind. I even think that it's much cozier and fun with all the plays/talks/stories we do before going off to dreamland.

Last night, as we were about to sleep and all the lights were off, we had this conversation...

Poch: What will happen if we have a real talking bed? (addressing to both of us, Thomas and I)
Me: A real talking bird? I think that would be fun. (quite sleepy already and thinking that Poch was using the Aussie accent - nga i-silent ang 'r' usahay)
Poch: No, mommy. Not a talking bird. I said a talking bed.
Me: Oh! Sorry.

And she asked again...

Poch: What do you think will happen if we have a real talking bed? (still addressing to both of us, Thomas and I)
Me: (I answered in exasperated voice) If we have a real talking bed, I think it'll say "wake up, wake up... you're so heavy... you're so 'tambok'...."
Poch: NO, mommy! I think it will say that to you but NOT TO ME!
Me: What?!!!! hahahhaha (Thomas, whom I thought was already asleep, also burst into laughter.)

Pagka- na lang gyud ning anaka... mangunay man... hehehe
